I need a new start. i need some girls to keep me in line and help me achieve my goals. my body loves to hover around 165. i need to be 140 by my wedding next year. so i need time to learn to maintain it. any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. ill post more tomorrow.
lost 3lbs on the banana diet. but then i managed to gain it all back over the weekend cause im a failure. seriously..i have no FUCKING idea where my self control went. its like i have absolutely none. i was soo great at resisting everything and not eating sweets when i lost all that weight last year..where did it go? its gunna be summer and i NEEED to lose weight. not even kidding. ughh. im fat. disgusting. repulsive. the scale didnt lie this morning. it neeeeds to go down..like NOW. it was sooo much easier to lose weight when i worked night shift. day shift is sooo stressful that i just continue to gain weight because my cortisol levels are sky high. fuck.
new start today. promise. i have to. my boyfriend deserves a healthy skinny girlfriend. not a fat obses eat everything in sight one. blahhh. i really need to learn to update more..xanga definitely kept me in line last year.
so i found this new diet in womans world magazine (which has some pretty legit stories/wt loss articles) and its called "the banana diet"
now just the sound of it doesnt sound to appealing...but its not like a hardcore diet at all. it promises 5-10lbs wt loss in a week. im def gunna try it, starting tomorrow, and see how it works for me, i will post results by next sunday. basically you eat one or two bananas for breakfast with a 8oz glass of room temp water. then for lunch you can pick and vary any of the following: 1) 1bowl of soup (200cals or less), 2.5 cups tossed salad 1/4cup light shredded cheese, 2tbs lite dressing with 4 crackers OR 2) 1 lean pocket, 6 baby carrots with 1tbs lite dressing and 1 serving of fruit OR 3) 2oz deli meat, 1 slice FF cheese and veggies on 2 slices whole wheat bread or a 6" subway sub with 1 bag (1oz) baked chips with 1 apple and then for dinner you can have the following in any variation: 1) 4oz salmon or chicken breast 2tbs teriyaki sauce 3/4 cup brown rice, 1.5 cups steamed veggies OR 2) 10" whole wheat tortilla layered with 2oz cooked chicken breast chopped veggies and 1/4 cup LF cheese, with 1.5 cups steamed veggies OR 3) 4oz lean broiled steak, 1tbs steak sauce, 1 baked potato 2tbs sour cream, 2tbs LF cheese, 1.5 cups steamed green veggies with 1tsp margarine OR 4) 1cup cooked pasta with 1 cup cooked veggies, 1/4 cup chickpeas or beans, 2tbs parmesan cheese and 2tsp olive oil, 2 cups salad with 2tbs lite dressing. it also says you can have one snack between 12noon and 4pm and no eating after 8pm. no sodas, sugars.
doesnt sound too terrible. its a hot new japanese diet craze and they had a couple americans do it and they lost 5-7lbs a week as well..depends on how heavy you are to begin with and how commited you are to losing it.
so ladies, im gunna try it, starting tomorrow. we'll see how it goes. if i get nothing. i will do the low GI diet along with a friend on here who has been seeing amazing results herself with that diet. so here goes!
hope you all are doing amazing. thanks for the comments on my last post as well! stay focused<33
gunna take a mini nap soon. i have a meeting with my wedding DJ later to (well one of the two that ive narrowed it down to) haha. planning on going to the gym after that and doing weights. 3 days cardio, 2 days weights. neeed to do this. where has my self control gone? seriously. im toying around with the idea of going LOW GI. i work 12hr day shift as a nurse, its nuts. i need to make better choices. 165 this morning. i wanna see 140 by may 14. doable? any input on your success stories would be such a great motivator to me. please leave comments! i will return them later! thanks ladies.
